We regularly engage with software developers, IT Professionals, Technopreneurs, solution providers, hardware manufacturers, resellers and consultants to provide knowledge, skills and technology transfer towards realizing Malaysia¡¦s ambition to become a developed nation.? In the past year, we have invested RM23 million into the local software ecosystem.
Additionally, Microsoft is active in advancing digital inclusion in Malaysia by providing software, curriculum, support and cash grants to underserved communities to acquire IT skills towards improving their socio-economic status.
The Partners-in-Learning Program launched in June 2004 serves to improve learning outcomes in the classroom. Microsoft has committed RM10 million to training teachers under this program, in addition to provision of software and curriculum for all national primary and secondary schools in Malaysia.
