IT & Telecom SIG is one of the industry components of the Project Management Institute (PMI), targeting those involved with technologies that include voice/data/video transmission and switching (e.g. analog, digital, terrestrial, satellite, microwave, fiber-optic), end users of the deliverables, and infrastructure providers. The IT and Telecom SIG creates a forum for project managers in the IT and Telecom industries to share specific project management ideas, challenges, and concerns.
