Malaysian Government to focus on ensuring success of the
Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) and the companies operating in
it. MDeC is dedicated to ensuring that MSC is the world's best
environment to harness the full potential of multimedia. MDeC
proactively collaborates with governments and companies for
mutual enrichments by acting as advisory to the Malaysian
Government on legislation and policies, develop MSC-specific
practises and set breakthrough standards for multimedia
operations. MDeC champion the merits of the MSC; facilitate the
entry of companies and partner with the Government and the
private sector in realising both vision and opportunities. |

The PM fraternity witnessed a new leaf in the history of project
management practice in Malaysia, with the birth of the much
anticipated MSCPMP Circle on 2 January 2008 Conceived as an EXCLUSIVE
platform for Malaysian PMPR holders to SOCIALIZE and NETWORK, to SHARE
industry experiences and to ADVANCE the project management discipline
in a friendly, supportive environment, the MPC also facilitates an
annual programme of quarterly forums, conferences, workshops and
seminars to promote continuous professional development of fellow
members.
These activities enable members to learn in a CONDUCIVE environment,
and at the same time, enable them to earn the PDUs (Professional
Development Units) necessary to maintain their active PMP status
throughout the year.
